The 10th anniversary Brower Youth Awards ceremony and celebration will be held at the Herbst Theatre on Tuesday, October 20th, 2009.  Awards ceremony reservations are free and open to the public.  Doors open at 7 p.m; the Awards ceremony will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Or, join us in advance of the ceremony for our annual fundraiser!  Our Opening Reception, featuring tasty finger foods and organic wine, begins at 5:30 p.m.  Mingle with the award recipients and Earth Island supporters in an intimate, festive pre-party.  Tickets cost $100 ($50 for youth 17 and under) and proceeds support the Brower Youth Awards program.  Each dollar we raise tonight helps us mentor these young leaders throughout the year - and grow the next generation of Cesar Chavezes and Julia Butterfly Hills.

If you've never been to a Brower Youth Awards ceremony in the past, you're in for a treat.  Expect rousing performances by Youth Speaks, a powerhouse MC, top-notch videos of our awardees, and energetic celebration of their achievements.  Check out photographs from our 2008 event, and get ready for a powerful night!
